This city is an amazing European capital.
This city is an amazing European capital. Starting with the fact that it is really really clean compared to other capitals (especially in the center), it is quite organised. The public transport is well developed and helps you reach any destination, but you might still need to walk a lot to reach more destinations in a single day. It offers an endless repertoire of history, architecture, art, food from anywhere around the world, cultures, etc. Additionally, it is extremely green, with lots of parks and big beautiful trees everywhere. Overall, it’s a really well-cared for city and people are also really nice (with some exceptions for sure). Please, note that public transport may result quite expensive, especially if tickets are bought for single rides. Because i havent access to my room in berlin apartment and after waiting someone who open my door i accomodate in second jotel and loosing 130 euros. I sending 14 sms and make 20 phone caĺls to people indicated like managers of apartment - no answer. Second day situation repeate. i waiting person who opened my door 4 hours and getting my luggage. One night we were too tired to go far and had dinner at hamburger place nearby (Peter Pan) and it was adequate to good. I would have liked more restaurants nearby. We did not try Amigo Cohen as we wanted German food in Germany. Did go to Zollpackhoff,a short cab ride away and Sapori di Casa also a short cab ride away and enjoyed dinners there.

But to me the very best things about this hotel was the hospitality and the kindness of the hotel manager and how he was willing to help with anything just to make sure you gonna be comfortable as there guest . I never felt so welcomed in a hotel like how I felt with them and definitely I’ll be back to the hotel :-)

Also purchase the 9euro travel ticket app, it’s available through the summer months, travel all over Germany with this ticket. The rooms were immaculate, and the breakfast had everything you would need to set you up for the day. The location is the added bonus. The Mercedes benz arena and main train station are practically on your doorstep. About a 5 min walk. Plenty of places to eat all around or only 3 stops on the U if you want to go into the city centre. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Berlin. 10 out of 10 ❤️

In addition, (a good) breakfast is included in the price, which isn't the case in many other hotels in Berlin/Germany these days. There can be some noise from the trains going past, with the S-Bahn track (also used by "normal" trains) running quite close to some of the rooms, but the sound insulation is pretty good.
